Today we’re making Nelly creole twist on a classic Krab and Shrimp seafood salad.
If you’re looking for a tasty lunch or satisfying appetizer dish to prepare - this is a definite crowd pleaser!
Krab and Shrimp Seafood Salad

Ingredients:
- 2 lb imitation crab (Krab), flaked
- 2 lb Shrimp, sautéed
- 2 shallot, minced
- 1 1/2 cup celery, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh dill
- 1/2 cup kosher dill pickle juice
- 2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Old bay
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons ground Szechuan pepper
Directions:
Shrimp - Start by removing the tails from your peeled and deveined shrimp, cut in half, then sauté in a pan on medium heat with 1 tablespoon of old bay, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt. Set aside to cool before adding to salad.
Salad - In a large bowl combine Krab, shrimp, celery, dill, shallots, mayo, pickle juice, and remaining seasonings.
Serve this salad on a toasted roll, with chips, on top of crispy rice or even stuffed inside jalapeños.
